"We are talking about THE Kipparielle? The Young Baroness? Kipparielle the Magnificent? Fomenter of discord, schemer, troublemaker, spoiler of the Ancient World, architect of wars, Dark Fae Sorceress Kipparielle claims she has something for you? I would run. I would run as fast as I could in the opposite direction and pray to the Gods she hadn't already figured I would do that." - Lady Astra Furies are a prestige class available to Psionicists. They are spellcasters who have glimpsed beyond the veil of reason and lost a piece of themselves in the process. Only rage holds together what little is left of their minds. The knowledge of Fury power had been lost for centuries until a certain Dark Fae decided to make it available to the Heroes of Midgaardia for reasons unfathomable. A reflection of Kipparielle can usually be found defacing the statues in the Temple of AVATAR for those brave or foolish enough to seek this knowledge. We cannot emphasize enough that nobody should play this class under any circumstances. Even the Dark Powers don't know what to make of Furies. They cannot ever become Sorcerers like Psions can. The Prime Requisite for Furies is (ironically) Intelligence. Requirements: * level 50 Psion * Disregard for personal well-being * Disregard for well-being of others * ??? * ??? * ??? * ??? * ??? * ??? * ??? * ???
Furies in General
Their mana determines their maximum wildmind buffer, so more options than a regular psi, but hp, mana, and a psi cost reduction are still going to do you well.
Furies do not get some useful spells such as: Portal, Bio Empathy, Fetch, Kinetic Chain, Illusory Shield.
Unknown: Does lash take into account racial melee mod?
Fury Creation
There is a quest that starts at Kipp in the sanctum hall of immortals, pp fury kipp. You'll have to go back to her a bunch of times and do some off things.
Known races that can start the quest: drc, liz Can't seem to finish the quest: liz
Unknown: what are the minimum requirements? Some races are not expected to be able to do it, but haven't seen a list yet
Furies at Hero Tier
Pretty good at high risk tanking, think bzk without the resist pain but with bloodlust that triggers as long as you are tanking. For hitting runs like a psi with some more dynamic options for damage and survivability,

Tanking:
- Once you've got a few levels it is reasonable to tank in unmade gear (hit or tank) as long as your kills are fast enough and you don't have to tank multiple mobs at once.
- You can refill your buffer by casting spells and with Psychotic Fury up getting the last hit with a spell can also help.
- Keep in mind that Wildmind is a relatively expensive spell to cast and will have to cast multiple times in the run. It lasts 16 for tics (the same as Sanc/Frenzy).
- The buffers you gain from stuff are on their own timers and aren't necessarily easy to track, so sometimes they will expire unexpectedly
- Your actual HP will go down whenever you get hit past your buffer, so at some point even with full buffer you will be below your max hp until you get some heals
Hitting:
- Wants to rescue at awful to gain Fury Affects to buff damage and refill buffer
- Can't dancing weapon with Wildmind and sanctuary up (can Tantrum to remove sanctuary)
- Keep in mind that Wildmind is a relatively expensive spell to cast and will have to cast multiple times in the run. It lasts 16 for tics (the same as Sanc/Frenzy).
- You've got bash and can use it with hafted weapons.
Healing: Not your thing, but you can brandish.
